"I call my work figurative abstraction, in which the nature and absurdity of human life resonate.

Radka Bodzewicz is a visual artist whose painting practice lies at the intersection of figuration and abstraction — a visual language she refers to as figurative abstraction. Her works explore thresholds between the body and the symbolic, consciousness and the unconscious, creating introspective visual worlds that question perception, memory, and experience.

She draws on philosophical, psychological, and scientific texts, intuitively translating them into symbolic compositions. In recent years, Bodzewicz has expanded her practice into digital environments, combining traditional painting with augmented and virtual reality, video, 3D modeling, and holography. This hybrid approach blurs the boundary between the tangible and thevirtual, guiding viewers into altered states of perception.
