We present the catalogue for the unique exhibition BUSHIDO! The Way of the Warrior, organized by Bold Gallery in cooperation with Arcimboldo Auction House from 20.5.-21.6.2022. Dedicated to the world of the samurai, the exhibition does showcase paintings on screens and colourful woodcuts, in addition to some extremely rare historical armour, swords, helmets, iron masks, cuboid sword guards and other authentic Japanese craft jewels related to bushido, the Way of the Warrior.
The catalogue consists of texts by leading Czech experts on the subject - samurai and Japanese culture - Jakub Zeman and Helena Honcoopová. The contents include a glossary of Japanese sword and armour and photographs of the exhibited objects.
