Ilona Koroman is a painter living and working in Prague. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in 2025 and has Hungarian–Ukrainian roots. Her work focuses on the poetics of everyday life, intimate spaces, and quiet, ordinary moments, rendered through a sensitive attention to architecture, light, and atmosphere. She resists being defined solely by her origin or by themes of war, instead developing a personal painterly language grounded in observation, memory, and a subtle tension between external reality and inner experience.
