Michael Nosek (*1990, Litoměřice) studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. During his studies, he completed an internship at ISI Yogyakarta in Indonesia. He has presented his figurative paintings, drawings, textile works, and site-specific installations to the public at a number of group exhibitions in Czechia and abroad (e.g., Pragovka, Prague; National Gallery - Veletržni Palác, Prague; MeetFactory, Prague; Living Art Museum, Reykjavík; LaManufacture, Roubaix, and others).

 

The formal approach of Nosek's works ranges widely between figurative realism and expressive abstraction. When working with individual media, he emphasizes precise craftsmanship and technological accuracy.
